This goes back to when I was in university doing my Masters. After the first year we were supposed to do internships in our respective areas of interest. I wanted a paid internship but the number of students in my course was too many and one should consider themselves lucky if they got a any internship at all. That was at the time when colleges across the city would compete for internships. I badly wanted a paid internship and I applied online for a few but I had no luck. So instead of wasting time I applied for an internship and got through. It was not going to pay me and it was quite far from the place where I was staying. I was a little worried about the travelling but I was still okay because I had an option and I didn’t have to have any stress till the last minute. But I still thought it would be good to have a paid internship.

As we know, the Universe has its own way and timing. I just let it go and that thought completely left my mind for a few months. On the last day of my university an opportunity fell on my lap out of nowhere! Of course there were other students who were very interested but as you can guess I got the internship with pay! And, it was close to where I was staying and in a much better company.
