To be quite honest, my academic track record is not really too stellar. I actually had to go through academic probation twice and was stuck in community college for longer than I had planned. Through the years, I have received answered prayers and got things that I had wanted. But ever since I learned about The Secret, it was almost like the Universe was snapping its fingers to immediately manifest my requests.

A little more than a month ago I was in tears in my bed. I was in a state of depression and anxiety, wondering what else I could do to get out of my rut. The next few weeks after that, I started the process of changing my mindset into one full of gratefulness and positivity. I started practicing gratefulness for every little thing I had going on for me. I also made sure to really feel that gratitude and to feel it in my heart as well as say it out loud.

During one of the times when I was feeling extra grateful, I had the serendipitous feeling to check my email. There was an email from a state college that was offering a 4 year nursing program. I do not usually get emails like this. Before this, I was only planning to do a 2 year nursing program. The deadline to enroll was in 10 days when I received the email. When I checked the prerequisites I needed in order to qualify, I saw that I met all of them. These included classes I took on a whim a couple of years back when I had no idea what I wanted to do in life. To sweeten the deal, everything was processed without me having to spend money for official transactions and documentation. Everything else that was still required of me, I actually had just enough time to work on them. As of now, I still need to finish a couple of classes for a guaranteed spot in the program this coming spring. This is no problem at all for the college I applied to since I meet the requirements regardless. I had a little trouble getting into one of my classes but within a day, I was able to register for it. On top of all that, I don’t have to worry about paying for textbooks or access codes because my current school decided to offer them for free to vaccinated students, which I am.

All throughout this time I was praying and practicing The Secret. I know that I am protected and blessed, and all I ever have to do is ask. Thank you for The Secret! Thank you, thank you, thank you so much!
