Hi all,

This is my first story here but I have so many stories to tell and this one is the most amazing of all of them. Here is the story:

At the age of 36 I quit my career and challenged myself to do something different. I never worked in the IT industry before so I did a very expensive certification course and jumped into the new career. So this new career was not easy. I kept on trying my luck with a few small projects and jobs which were not permanent. I was striving for a permanent position in a big IT company so that my career could take a big start.

So after trying very hard and using The Secret I finally landed a job that was fitting with my criteria. I got a job! A permanent job in a big IT company!!! I was super happy and thrilled that I could not be any more happier. Everything was just perfect. My salary, designation and other perks were amazing! I got the Offer Letter and the HR people asked me to join on the 23rd.

I reported on the given date with all the blessings and congratulation messages from my family and friends. Everything went off well until HR informed me that there was some verification pending and because of this, they can’t give me my employee ID. They said that they needed to enquire about a few things and only then will they allow me to start my employment with the said company.

I was devastated, shattered. I couldn’t stop my tears which started rolling down on my cheeks. I came back home. I kept asking myself what went wrong but I couldn’t find any answer. When I was settled down a bit then I called HR and asked them what my status was exactly. They informed me that I have a 100% chance to be called again next week for joining. But I was not sure about my luck and I was being negative. But I knew I had one weeks time so I should do something about it. So first I gathered myself and watched The Ssecret and read as many stories in the ‘Jobs’ and ‘Gratitude’ categorys on this website as I could. This helped me a lot. Then I did something amazing. I started watching comedy serials, videos and movies, one after another. I held those words in my mind that “100% you will be called”. I paid gratitude for everything, such as for things like a needle and thread, salt and pepper, etc.

It was Thursday, only after 2 days of that incident. I received a call from HR saying that I can join starting on Monday 16th!  All verifications have been done and I have gotten the green light from the verification department. I was thrilled so, so, so happy that I can’t express it in words!!
