My mum first gave me The Secret when I was 21 years old. I read it but didn’t pay it too much attention as I was quite a pessimistic person.

A year later it was my final year at university and I really wanted to achieve good marks in my degree whilst not having to worry about money like I had in previous years. I studied The Secret, watched the film and practiced The Magic. My way of thinking completely changed and I became an optimist. I had all the quotes from The Secret on the wall in my bedroom. Every day I made a list of ten things I was grateful for and made a wish list of all the things I wanted to achieve. This included a part time job that paid well and the marks I wanted to achieve in my exams and essays.

Within that year I attracted a great job which was flexible enough for me to work around my degree and I had more money than I needed, managing to pay for a holiday at the end of my studies. I also achieved the exact final mark in my degree that I had asked the Universe for. I knew it was all down to The Secret and I was so grateful.

During that year I also began to think about what I would do after university. I love travelling and living abroad, in the sun and away from the U.K.  So I began to look at becoming cabin crew outside of the Uk. I had a specific airline in mind and applied. I had a final interview with them but unfortunately I did not get the job. I was heartbroken and down for a while. I felt like my dream had been taken away from me. However, one day my mum reminded me about another similar airline which was based in the same place. I continued practicing The Secret and imagined myself in this airline uniform, living in the sun and travelling all over the world. I had to spend a lot of money on buying a new outfit for the interview and on travelling there, but I knew it would be worth it and that job was mine.

Fast forward a few years and I have now been working for that airline for a year and a half. I live in a place where the sun shines 12 months a year. I still love my job and have travelled all over the world visiting countries that I had written on my wishlist. I literally have my dream job and I am living the exact life that I had dreamt about for so long.

I know that all of this is because of The Secret. Some things take time but this really does work! Be positive, be grateful!
