I am a girl from Ahmedabad, India. My story starts like this. I have done a Master in Computers. However, when I reached my final semester, I realized I wanted to become an HR and as IT was my background, I wanted to work in the IT Industry. I got placed from my campus as an HR Recruiter in consultancy. This was not really my interest. I wanted to go for generalist as that was what I had been thinking of.

Four  months after I was on board, I got an offer from a start up IT company to work as an HR generalist. I worked there for 2 years as a generalist and then I decided I was wanting a job change, a move to an MNC. I always dreamed of a particular company that was 10 minutes away from my place. Whenever I passed by there I would always think that this was the company I want to work with.

In less than a month I got an interview call from the same company. I appeared for the interview and successfully cleared all the rounds. But after my last round, I got nervous and anxious about the job. I wrote about how grateful I was to work with this company and started feeling positive about it again.
And to my surprise, I got the confirmation just 4 days after I had written my gratitude. It was also the same day as my birthday. Nothing better could I have asked for as a gift on my day of birth.
