I’d like to say thank you to each and every individual who shared their stories here. It gives me hope, especially on days when I feel everything just seems to be going downhill. Thank you to Rhonda for writing those wonderful books. I have read The Secret and I’m currently reading The Power.

These past few weeks have been very stressful for me. I try to remember to practice all that I have read and learned so far but some days are just too difficult for me. I wanted to get out of the rut I was in because I had been very grumpy and mad at everyone I came in contact with. I felt hopeless and just wanted to give up.

Just yesterday, I decided that I have had enough of my moping. I accompanied my boyfriend to get his hair cut and while I was waiting for him, we were laughing and joking around. I realized that it was the first time I felt this happy. I silently thanked the Universe and vowed to be happy from that moment on.

After his haircut, we headed home and started to discuss our dinner options. Since we were both unemployed, we didn’t have a lot of money between us. We were thinking what food we could get for the little money that we had when we bumped into his friends who immediately invited us to dinner. We accepted the invitation and I couldn’t help but think that the moment I started to feel happy, I attracted good experiences. We had a great time and had a nourishing and enjoyable meal for free!
