I have to say that Christmas is my favorite holiday since I was a little kid. The thing I most enjoy about Christmas is being with family and enjoying each others company and moments.

Since I’ve been living in Miami and working in the hospitality business, and being recently married, my hands have been full, and it’s been a year since I saw my family in New Jersey. Even though my dad hasn’t yet met my wife. So in August 2008 from the bottom of my heart I wished to be with my family for Christmas this year. I visioned myself and my wife meeting my family, and being with my family for Christmas and spending quality time together. That meant everything in the world for me – it’s a priceless feeling having everybody together for Christmas.

In August 2008 I began searching for airline tickets to NJ. The tickets were 400 dollars. I was like, oh no, it’s way too expensive. I couldn’t afford to buy two airline tickets, because my wife is not working at the moment. So I began searching and asking for help to see if I could get tickets priced around 200 dollars, but it just didn’t happen. I had to change my flight dates to a week before Christmas, when the tickets were 265 dollars. I knew that in my heart that was not what I wanted though. I wanted wanted wanted Christmas. So even though I didn’t get what I wanted, I still kept visualizing and having that feeling about it.

It seems impossible to get airline tickets for 200 dollars at Christmas time, because that is peak season for airlines, and there’s just no way around it. But from the bottom of my heart I believed that it could happen. I didn’t know how it was going to happen, but I wanted it bad enough.

So in October of 2008 I had to make the decision with my airline tickets. I was at work looking at the week before Christmas to purchase my airline tickets for 260 dollars, and at the same time was still believing and visualizing how great it would be for Christmas. I had just been approved by my work for the time. I had signed my dates of request for vacation, and I was walking towards my desk to make my purchase on the internet when all of sudden there was a pop up from Hotwire – a flight special. December 23rd to Dec 28th from Ft Laurdale to New Jersey for $249 dollars. Right in front of my face! And I was like WOW!!!!!!! I was speechless, and almost crying. I booked my tickets for Christmas that moment. WOW!! What a feeling…. so good.

Nothing is impossible! If I could I would attach my airline ticket to this story. Life is AMAZING…. I keep living my life this way…
