I have known about The Secret since the book first came out and I later saw The Secret film. I was following the book and somehow I fell off, and for several years I put the book away along with my vision board.

Well, in the last 2 months I was reintroduced to The Secret by my cousin. That amazed me that she was still practicing it after I told her about it back then. Nevertheless, this time I asked for a sign, from the Universe. I said “Give me a story to tell”, so that it could encourage me and someone else. Well, it took about 2 weeks after I asked and then I was given just that and some. I didn’t know what it would be or what would happen, but I knew that there was going to be something to let me know that I am on the right path this time.

I received what I thought was a utility shut-off notice. I panicked and I immediately started looking for resources to assist me. Now, when I received what I thought was a shut-off, I wrote PAID across it and I threw it to the side. I did not go back to it. I trusted the Universe.

Two days later I called the utility company because I wanted to see what arrangements I could make and was informed I was mistaken, it was not a shut-off notice but a different notice. I had already requested some assistance from a resource and informed the service rep that I had. The rep told me that I was in a good situation because I had asked for the resources. Then again 2 days later I received notification from the resource that I was approved for an amount that was more than I actually asked for! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

So this is my story, the Universe heard me and reacted. I had no idea what my story was going to be, just like I did not know how that bill was going to be paid. And even though I did not know how the Universe did it, I do know that the Universe hears us and I know that the law of attraction totally works. I not only got the story I had asked for but also the bill paid. It is amazing. I am so grateful now that I am practicing The Secret and the law of attraction every single day, so that I may live an abundant, long, happy, and healthy life. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
