Getting to know gratitude
First of all I want to thank Rhonda and the entire fabulous Secret Team, who have made these books and film possible, from the bottom of my heart.
This is my first story about gratitude, when I was small I feared gratitude because whenever I gave God thanks for something it would disappear out of my life so I stopped giving thanks, but now I know I gave thanks fearing it will be taken away.., and guess what it was taken away.. like attracts like.
But know after reading “The Magic” I learned gratitude is very different from what I used to believe.. And I did 28 days of gratitude last month, and some relationships that were troubling my health healed like magic!!! and this month this is what happened..
I was born in Mexico and I love my country with all my heart but now I live in California, and this past weekend I really wanted to go to Tijuana, Mexico with all my might but had no money..and my car was not working. I thought that probably I would had to wait some time, but not that long as it turns out. So a friend gets a call from another friend saying that if he could take his parents to TJ to the airport in his truck so he asked me if I wanted to go because he didn’t wanted to go alone. The gas and the truck were provided by the Universe for free!!! We took the people to the airport and then we went to this delicious mexican restaurant where they make hand made tortillas and the food is so tasty and good, and he paid! Then I wanted to get a coffee and a piece of cake at this place called “Sanborns” and the coffee, tea and cake that I ordered were delicious. I was really enjoying the trip and the food and giving thanks for the wonderful moments and blessing for everyone and everything who made this marvelous mini trip possible. Then a lady arrived and gave us an iTunes card for a download of free songs. I said thanks from the bottom of my heart.
My friend and I wanted to go to the movies, but didn’t know which movie we should watch and we were standing there when this couple approached us and asked hey guys have you seen “Django” and I said no, then they said here you go we want to give you these tickets because we can’t stay, we gotta go!, and I was really surprised, and I said a surprised “Thanks”, the movie was great and we had a really fun time in Tijuana, MExico.
So it is true when you give thanks and feel good more good things come to you.
I got a free ride, with free gas, good company, free food, free iTunes cards and free movie tickets, so my trip was better than I thought it would..
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for this wonderful mini-great trip!!!!
