I was a high school sophomore when I got the first “touch” of The Secret. I thought, “Why not put to a test whatever is written in the book since it sounds to ‘weird’ and ‘good’ to be true?” I thought of something random where I could apply THE SECRET, and what I thought of is my upcoming Biology test. I thought and thought, and visualized so hard (with affirmations) that I will get the highest score in the class. I even visualized what my Biology teacher will wear that day and what she will say when the day of the results comes. I visualized her noir skirt, and her white blouse, which she seldom wears to class. I visualized my teacher announcing my name to class, congratulating me for getting the highest score.

I did this visualization thing ONLY 3 – 5 times and even for less than 20 minutes for 2 DAYS. I was doing my visualizing “procedure” in my service bus while going to school. I’d close my eyes, pretending to be asleep, but instead, focusing on the HIGHEST SCORE I want to have.

The day of the results came and the anticipation was rising in me. Everyone in the class was too noisy but I sat still in my seat, afraid that; my teacher isn’t be wearing what I visualized, and my visualization ,therefore, failed from the start, OR my teacher IS wearing what I visualized, which is, I think, creepier, since initially, I doubted “The Secret.”

The teacher entered the room, and TADA, EXACT CLOTHES FROM TOP TO BOTTOM. It sent chills down my spine. I thought to myself, “But I was just joking about the skirt and the blouse!”

The papers came in and sadly, I didn’t get the highest score.

BUT THE STORY DOESN’T END THERE.

The class after Biology is my Language class. The results were also given to us, but I wondered, why I’m the only one with the mark “EXCELLENT!” written by the teacher. I looked at the papers of my classmates around me and my score is really FAR BETTER than what they got. I GOT THE HIGHEST SCORE IN LANGUAGE CLASS!!! AND, not only that, my teacher said “You got the HIGHEST TEST SCORE IN THE BATCH!” I was too dumbfounded I really can’t believe that it happened.

The Secret is way beyond REAL, and somehow, a bit “creepy” because it can just pop out anywhere, and maybe showing what is even BETTER for us.
