I do not remember when the first time I came across the concept of the law of attraction, but “The Secret” had been on my desktop for a long time. I procrastinated reading it until last Sunday when I opened the book and finally read it. I was a firm believer in the concept before reading The Secret but after finishing it, I wanted to see if I could apply the rules of “Ask, believe and receive” that were in the book, accurately or not. I gave the Universe an impossible task, at least it was at that time.

So I have a friend with whom I was on horrible terms. Even if we came across each other, we would just pass by each other without even looking at each other. But I did miss him so I gave the task to the Universe to get a message from him that would restore our friendship. I gave a timeline for it to happen within a week. I imagined getting his text and then concentrated on my feelings. I imagined that I had already received his message and it felt awesome. On Monday, I repeated the exercise. I even took a screenshot of his profile, so that every time I would go to use my phone, I would recall that I have gotten his message and how that felt.

On Tuesday I received his message and it restored our friendship! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Thank you Rhonda Byrne for giving us The Secret. Now I am on my way to achieving each and every thing I have ever dreamed of.
