How To Get Your Lost Luggage Back!
Submitted by: Paula
PhilippinesI am creative and grateful for my life!
I had just landed in Thailand early in the morning after two previous flights for a quick layover before my next flight the following day. That was when I found out that all my luggage was missing at the luggage claim area and though the staff were very helpful, they couldn’t locate my luggage and had no idea where it was. I basically had nothing on me except for a pair of trousers and a shirt I packed last minute in my carry on because I had a feeling I needed to. To cut the long story short, I needed my luggage before my next flight as it would be difficult to go looking for clothes in the Himalayas to last me for a full itinerary with a lot of outdoor activities for a week.
I remember reading stories about retrieving lost things in The Secret and The Power and I Googled stories I read on this website about how people got their lost luggage back. The Secret has brought so much into my life and I am always grateful for all the positive growth it has brought me. I knew all I had to do was apply what I learned to locate my luggage and get all of it back. I had been calling the airlines throughout my layover to get updates if they had found my luggage and so far nothing. It came to a point that they said flights were limited and my luggage might not get back to me before we leave for the Himalayas, or ever. I kept calm and just kept envisioning seeing myself happily going over the things inside my luggage. My friend actually commended me for being very calm and positive about the whole thing. I knew that being on a good frequency was my best option as panicking would only bring out the results that I don’t want at all. From the stories I read, the common thing they all did to bring their lost items back to them was to:
1. Feel good and be grateful in spite of the setback. I was grateful to be safe, to have my friend lend me a shirt to sleep in, to have food in my belly, to be so blessed to have the capability to travel, etc.
2. Envision getting your lost item back with absolute faith. I envisioned touching and using the items inside my luggage, of the staff notifying me that they are flying my luggage to me.
3. You must have this feeling that you just know you’ll find your lost item no matter what, have unwavering faith, just believe,
4. Be happy with the thought that you’ll be OK even if you don’t get your lost item back, envision what you’ll do to replace your lost item, send out the vibe that you’ll be grateful no matter what. I know this part basically seems conflicting with the initial frequency that you sent out but it really works because it’s the part that signifies you “letting go”. For those who have been practicing The Secret you know that this is the part that is most challenging for most people and is sometimes the part they get stuck on when their manifestation doesn’t happen.
I went about my day after that as if I didn’t lose my luggage. We flew to the Himalayas and I updated the different airlines and the airport staff about all my stops so they would know where to forward my luggage when they locate it. I kept being grateful such as how we were safe, had food and having such good experiences.
And you know what? The Universe never does fail you. I got an email from the airport staff when we got home from our trek that my luggage was found on one of the connecting flights and will send it to me ASAP! Getting my luggage back and seeing all my things all intact was definitely one of the best feelings in the world. It was not just because I got all my things back but rather the amazing thought that the Universe is indeed in my favor, especially when I believe and keep having faith. Reading the statistics about lost luggage, the airport staff told me that I was so lucky because people don’t usually get their things back as quickly as I did and usually worse, they don’t get any of their belongings back at all.
This is my first time writing and sharing about one of the countless experiences I have had since practicing The Secret but I feel that this certainly was the perfect first experience to share because I want it to work for others and help them. To those who travel as much as me and understand the struggles of losing luggage, I hope you find this story and do follow what I did. I assure you, your luggage will find its way to you. Thank you to Rhonda and the team for all that you do for us by sharing The Secret and helping us turn our lives around. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I wish everyone happiness, inner peace and all the blessings in the world.
