In 2016, my world crumbled around me. I discovered my husband was cheating, had a second family, and was filing for divorce. In despair, I moved back to my parents’ house with my two young children, unsure of what the future would hold. During a long and bitter divorce, I saw my finances dwindle, lost my house, and found myself jobless. Depression and anxiety took over my life as I saw my life as I knew it, fall apart.

A cover and the colors of a small book caught my eye, it was The Secret. I opened it and started to read it and something inside made me purchase it. As I quickly finished the book during the next 24 hours, I knew I had to try all of its suggestions.

Daily, I would send out thoughts and feelings of gratitude. I practiced daily affirmations and visualizations, really trusting that it would all work out without an idea of how it could.

Within 4 months my life changed! I was offered an amazing job out of the blue earning more than my previous job! My ex-husband began to pay child support, left me the earnings from the sale of our home, and even wrote me a check for half of the pension he was so reluctant to give me previously. My world had changed and almost instantly, $100,000 came into my life.

Life can change, you just have to believe it with all of your heart and not doubt that the Universe will make your intentions come true.
