I am a middle-class girl from India with very big dreams. I want to buy a house, run a business, and host a travel show, among other things. My latest dream was to become an international cabin crew member. Although I was already a cabin crew member for a domestic carrier, I wanted to take on this new challenge. The opportunity to interview for an excellent international airline finally came to my city, which was amazing as this had not happened in the last two years.

The interview process had multiple rounds, and it took me three days to reach the final round. After that, I had to wait for the success email. Throughout the process, I never thought I would actually NOT get the job. I kept thinking that these things were just formalities. I started picturing myself wearing the airline’s uniform. I even wrote a success email to myself from the company, including my imagined joining date.

Then, not to my surprise but certainly to my delight, I received an email from the company the next day after writing my success email. It stated that I was chosen but my actual joining date was two days earlier than I had imagined!

Now, here I am in Abu Dhabi, working for the fastest-growing airline. I am so grateful for what I have and what I am going to have in the future. Imagine it, feel it, and receive it!
