Friendship
Submitted by: Wendy
NeverlandA happy teen.
My story starts off one year earlier.
I had a best friend since I was a child. She never really treated me right. She was critical and demeaning at times.
I didn’t understand why till one day I realized that it was her own insecurities that made her treat me this way. I changed by negative attitude and perception of her.
Within a month she started being nicer and we had less fights.
The friendship was good but occasionally my negativity would come back and I would point out her “wrongs” against me.
When I started working on myself and my spirituality more, the friendship improved. I started being grateful for the little things she would do, and say thank you for all the friendships in my life. I truly started accepting her the way she is.
Now I found that accepting someone the way they truly are is magical in itself.
In love you can truly change someone. That is exactly what happened.
Now today we never fight, she is always kind and loving towards me, and have so much fun together.
Thank you Rhonda!
