Thank you to Rhonda and The Secret Team!

My second story here on this board. So, I recently move to Las Vegas and not having a car at all seems a little bit challenging to me. Oh well, I have to suck it up for awhile. So, one day me and boyfriend wanted to go to KFC to buy a value meal.

But take note, to go to KFC it would take us 30 minutes one way and vice-versa. We don’t want to ride a bus in order for us to save money. So, while walking down the road I have the habit of looking down to see what treasures I can find. I then declared, it would be nice if I would find money.

So, after about 4 minutes, I saw a $1 wrapped up on a receipt. At first glance, I didn’t wanna pick it up since it was only a $1, but I decided alright, just grab it, as what my conscience said and handed it to my boyfriend. Then he just shoved it into his pocket also without looking at it.

While walking, I was so anxious to take a look at it because maybe it wasn’t just a $1 but my boyfriend kept telling me to wait until we reached KFC. Okay, as soon as we get there my boyfriend handed it to me and he went ahead to the counter.

This is the weird part. Remember I wasn’t interested in the beginning to pick it up? But somehow when I open it and saw the $1 bill right on my face my emotions changed. I jumped for joy and said right away “Thank You, Thank You, Thank for this money that I have received”. I was really excited and being grateful for $1 only. I felt like dancing on the floor at that time!

Then it struck me!!! Oh, is this HOW you feel when being grateful for small little things? I totally forgot the teaching of The Secret about small stuff. How could I ever forget the teaching?

Then the next day, after being so grateful about that small thing, I received an unexpected $25 belated gift card from my boyfriend’s mom.

Lesson: To not ignore the small thing.
