Force Yourself To Trust!
Submitted by: JS
MalaysiaI am a girl who just graduated from University.
I graduated from my University in May. Before I graduated I had already started to look for a job. In the job hunting process, I experienced so many failures and I started to give up. That feeling appeared when I found out that most of my friends already had a job. I felt very frustrated because I was the one who had interviewed more than 10 times but still did not have a job offer. My parents also forced me to get a job and I felt very stressed about that. Sometimes I would question myself: “Why I am the unlucky person, my friends got job offers and just interviewed for a few times!”
I had been looking for a job for four months. I applied LOA but I still could not get a job. Therefore, I started to do more research about the LOA and I found out one important ingredient to help some people make LOA work is to use affirmations. When I applied for the next a job, I convinced myself that this job belongs to me and I am the most suitable person for this job. Besides that, I also did a vision book. I also emailed the job offer letter to myself, printed it out and pasted it in the book. I also printed out the statement: “I got a dream job!!!” and I pasted it in with my own photo. I also wrote down the salary I desired and searched for pictures with a good environment of the workplace. I pasted all of those things in my vision book.
One day after that I went for the interview. I admit that I was not performing well during the interview but I still believed that they would hire me. On the next day, when I was hanging out with friends, I got a call from them and I was selected! After four months, I am not jobless anymore!
I always tell myself that if the LOA works for me, I will share my story on this website. Here, I want to tell the fresh graduates, since you do not have much work experience, you might face many challenges in finding a job. But do not give up, believe that you will get a job.
Good luck to all of the fresh graduates!
