I have only recently been introduced to The Secret and was struggling to see how it could all work. The more I read the book, the more I understood what needed to happen and I tried to use the concepts and ideas but for the life of me, I didn’t feel like I was genuine. My first stumbling block was my struggle to visualize things but I now realise this is not essential. My next stumbling block came when I read the section ‘Your job is you’. I wondered how I could ever love myself enough to live The Secret. So, later in the book, when I started reading about finding your inner life presence in order to truly love yourself, I began to despair – I couldn’t find that presence no matter how much I tried!

So I turned to my friend and mentor (who gifted me the book) for advice. She suggested that to find my inner life presence, perhaps I should use my totem animal (the wolf) and imagine myself as a wolf pup, as I have a strong affiliation with wolves. So I tried each morning before I started my day, to find my inner self and on the third morning I found it!! It was just as the book describes – a feeling of pure love and bliss – I wanted to cry and laugh hysterically at the same time!!!! WOW, what a phenomenal feeling it is!!! And now that I’ve done it once, I have no trouble accessing my inner presence whenever I want and need to, it’s just fantastic!!

If anyone out there is struggling in the same way I did, I want you to know there IS a way you can find your life presence and truly love yourself. Your totem animal is a part of you, it IS you and it could be a big help to you right now… And I’m so grateful to be able to share my story about how I did it, in the knowledge that I can help someone else.

I now KNOW that I lead a great life and I am truly thankful for all that I have!!!
