EuropeI believe that good things happen to those who believe in good!
Hello!
I am a creative person and I enjoy making resin pendants with pressed plants inside. Since spring is near and the weather had been really warm for the past few days, this morning I decided to take a walk out in nature. I wanted to see if I could find some nice, small wildflowers that I could press and put in my pendants.
As I was walking along through the path, I saw a few violets. I was so happy to see them because they reminded me of my childhood and my grandmother who liked them so much. I imagined how nice my pendants would look with pressed violets inside, but I absolutely did not want to pick them because there were so few of them. I did not want to destroy them as I was considering them such a lovely gift from nature. Instead, I took my camera and took nice photos of all the violets I saw.
I returned home without finding any other interesting flower to press, but I did not think of it as coming home with empty hands because I kept thinking of the lovely photos I took. I came home with the thought that some things belong to nature and no matter how much I may want them, I must always do the right thing because it is more important to do so and follow my inner self. Even thought I had thought that the pendants would look lovely, I was not sad or disappointed at all.
Later, in the afternoon, my friend phoned me to tell me that she is planning to visit me after work. When she came, we used the lovely, sunny day and went for a walk in the village. As we were walking, we stopped to take photos of an adorable baby lamb. Just then, when I turned the other way, I spotted a meadow full of violets! There were hundreds of thousands of them! I could not believe it! I had never seen so many violets in one place, it looked like a huge, violet carpet! Since there were so many, I could pick a few because it was like taking a drop from the sea! And the color of those violets was so much more vibrant than the color of the violets I had seen in the morning! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I am so happy and I learned a valuable lesson, one must always be humble, do what is right and be thankful for everything. God will reward that with something even bigger than what we wished for! That was what happened to me. I let go of the few violets I saw in the morning, I was thankful for what I had seen and what I had and I got a whole field of them in the very same day!
I can not wait for the violets to be pressed! I just know the pendent is going to be lovely!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
