I first bought The Secret when I worked in a bookshop half a year ago. We sold so much of it that I started thinking, ‘Maybe there is something in this…’ And I bought myself a copy. When I read it I got really shocked, because I was not really happy in my life at that time, and in reading this book I realised that this was because of my own thinking! I always went around thinking that, I don’t want this to happen to me, and I don’t want that to happen to me, and so on. And these things happened to me every time. So I started to change my thinking.

Of course it was not easy in the beginning. It was actually really, really hard. Because even though I knew and believed in the Secret, you have a feeling of controlling what is bad when you think about it, even though I knew that this was totally wrong. So I started to meditate, witch really worked for me.

One after another things started happening to me. I wanted everything, from more happiness, more friends, more money, my parents to get a new house, to cooler clothes, and it went on.

Now half a year later look at me! One by one things have appeared in my life. Changes were quick too. I suddenly got in contact with my old girlfriends that I had lost contact with for about three years. Suddenly we met threw a common friend and we were inseparable. Now they are my best friends again, and I have a place I belong again.

My parents suddenly put in an offer on this really pretty house by the ocean. They have looked for a new house for NINE years! And I was so tired of hearing them complaining.

I started finding money on the street, and I got this job that I really really wanted. I knew that they weren’t seeking people, but I still gave them an application, and I told all my friends and my mother that they needed an 80% girl, and guess what happened? They called me after one week and asked me for a interview, on an 80% girl. I was of course a little nervous when I went to the interview, but I still knew that this job was mine so I was not really that nervous. Guess what?! I got it that same day.

I have also used the Secret to manifest a camera I lost on a night on the town, money when needed, a boy I wanted to send me a message, and it goes on.

My life is really changed now. If there is something I want, instead of thinking, “Oh I can’t get that…” I say, “Thank you Rhonda! I can get anything I want!”
