I feel so grateful while I am typing my story. My car broke down last week just the day before Thanksgiving, and would cost me a lot to have it repaired; if ever it could be. I was so helpless because I used it to go to work and school. I didn’t know what I was going to do, but unbelievably I was not so stressed about it; I spent the whole weekend listening to a Gospel CD while driving my sister’s car. I had a feeling that everything was going to be alright in the end…

On Sunday, I called an acquaintance who had given his number to one of my friends who also needed to buy a car. I explained my situation to that person because I knew that he had a car for sale. Came to find out that he did not only have one car, but three for sale. After talking to him for a few minutes he told me that he also fixed cars, so I asked him if he could come look at the dead one in my driveway and he told me that he would be there in a couple of minutes.

He checked it and told me that the car might not be able to be fixed; which I already sensed. We were talking and I explained to him that I needed a car to go to work and school; I have to keep my attendance at school at a certain percentage to avoid suspension. That’s when he offered to let me borrow one of the cars that he had for sale, since I did not have the cash to pay for another car right away. What is amazing to me is that it is not very common for people to be so kind. I knew that guy before but never really expected him to do me such a great favor.

I got the car the following Tuesday and have been driving it to school and work. I know that God is good; but situations like this strengthen my faith in him and reassure me that he is and will always be there for me.

Thank you Rhonda for promoting and encouraging positive thinking and attitude. The Secret is a great tool that I have been using since I bought it in 2009. I have posted many times on this website and I will have many more stories to post in the very near future.

No matter what is going on in your life, try to stay positive, everything will fall into place in the end… I am so grateful for that guy who came to save me with his kindness and compassion.

PS: I decided to buy the car from him and he agreed to be paid after tax refund.
