I had known about The Secret for some time. It had worked wonders years back and I had managed to secure the job I wanted overseas, and the exact salary I was looking for. The funny thing was that 2 years prior to this, I had written that I wanted to meet the man of my dreams and that I wanted to go on a deep spiritual journey… and it happened just like that, although of course not in the way I expected!

2012 started off in quite a rough and unexpected way; we found out that my dad had been diagnosed with cancer, my boyfriend had left me and I had moved back home from overseas without a job and in a lot of debt.

Somehow, relocating back home made me depressed and I soon became ungrateful for everything in my life. I got really complacent about life and forgot about the teachings of The Secret and just like that, bam, my year started off in the worst possible way. I was pretty mad at life, deflated and just miserable all the time. I kept on wondering why this was happening to me!!! After many days of crying, and trying to perk myself up, I decided enough was enough. I had to get back to my happy self again.

This time round, I decided to become an avid student of LOA. The Secret book was an excellent starting point. I then went on to read The Power, Napoleon Hill, listened to Abraham Hicks… literally everyday there was something new to discover about the LOA. A big help for me was applying The Magic book to my life. In 28 days I totally transformed my attitude, and instead of focussing on all the bad, I realised that actually life wasn’t that bad after all, in fact it really was amazing!!!!!

My dad’s health is so much better than ever, and everyday he is getting remarkably stronger. As for the relationship, I’ve learnt to let go and let God – it’s in his hands now and I know it’s only a matter of time before we are reunited and engaged… in fact I will be posting again on here to give you all the news!!

When I asked 2 years ago for my spiritual journey to begin and to be shaken up, I never thought it would be like this, but everything has worked out for the best. The time that I have had away from my career has meant that I now have time to reflect on life, help out my family when they need me most and to get to know God on a whole new level and to study the LOA. This is the foundation and I needed to create my life the way I want 😉

Whenever I have felt discouraged, I have always seen a sign to get me back on track. Some things are crazy like seeing 3 foxes in the street, seeing an old friend, seeing green shoes. My favourite was finally finding my beloved bracelet, it was always my symbol of faith.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to Rhonda and her team for introducing me to an incredible life, and bringing me so much closer to God. I can’t thank you enough for turning everything around. I truly now understand what it means to be grateful and I really am looking forward to living the life that I want!!!

To anyone who is reading about LOA, I would suggest to really study it. We have been conditioned in life to think one way and it takes a while of practice to change our thought process… some people are quicker than others but NEVER give up!!!!!! God loves us and wants us to be happy not suffer!!! 🙂
