After reading ‘The Secret’ I started putting it into practice with small things such as getting that perfect park and getting to the train station before the train left. It always worked. I loved my job but I decided I would like a pay rise. I concentrated on feeling grateful for my job and for the people I work with.

About a month later I was offered a promotion. I was overjoyed! At the time they didn’t know what the salary would be. For two weeks I concentrated on the exact amount I wanted. It was way over what I thought that I would get but I didn’t let that stop me. I put post-it notes around my desk at work, I put notes next to my TV at home and would glance at it and feel so happy and grateful that that was my new salary. I made changes and printed out bank statements that showed my dream amount and put that in my wallet so that I could see it every time I opened it.

I had my fortnightly meeting with my boss when he unexpectantly brought up the subject of my pay rise. I sat there thinking the amount in my head over and over. He was sifting through paperwork on his desk and then he found it. When he told me the exact amount that I had been focusing on I cannot even explain how happy I was. IT WORKS IT WORKS!!! It wasn’t even just the money. In that moment I knew that no matter what it was, I can have it! Ask the universe and you will receive.

Since reading The Secret and buying the DVD I am now in a loving relationship with the guy of my dreams, living in a different city that I love, I am closer and have better relationship with my family, I have a job that I love going to and people I love working with and a salary to match!!! Now I want a car, and I know I’m going to get the perfect one because I asked the universe! I live a blessed life and I am grateful for every second of it.
