In March of 2009, I was introduced to The Secret and watched the movie. I immediately decided to apply it and see if it was really working. And the result was amazing.

By that time, I was making a lot of music as a composer, and to make music my living was my dream. But I had a lot of things to do before, like finding artists for my songs… and I was still at school.

The person who was inspiring me the most was an American producer called Ryan Leslie. So I decided to imagine and feel myself working with him in the studio every day.

A few days after, I woke up to a text on my cellphone from my friend telling me that Ryan Leslie was holding a contest for the best video showing yourself creating a song. The prize was a day with him in the studio in New York.

So of course I created the video with one of my best friends and sent in the submission.
By that time, I didn’t know this video would change everything.

I didn’t win this contest but what it brought to me was the most important. Ryan Leslie chose me in the top 5 finalists, being the only french participant and having more than 30.000 views on my video.

A few weeks later, someone contacted me on facebook telling me that her fiance was an American artist and was interested in working with me. I got in touch with him and after a few hours of work on skype, we both felt that unique connection we had and decided to create a band together.

From that moment, everything happened so quickly, from all the hours of work on skype we spent, to our first showcase in Paris, to being signed by a french label right before Christmas.

As I am telling you this story, it’s February 1st. I’m about to fly to Austin to finish our mixtape which will be released soon and so many great things are about to happen. I keep reminding myself of the moment I saw that text on my phone and had no idea of what was about to happen to me.

I had to stop school, music is now my living. I found the best artist I could have found to work with, who became a brother to me, and the promotional company that our label wants to use for America is, of course, Ryan Leslie’s label…

The law of attraction is amazing. I try to bring more and more friends into it.

The Secret really works and changed a lot of things in my life.
