I first came across The Secret many years ago at the age of about 16 and since I first read the book it resonated with my heart instantly. It was exactly how I used to live my life anyway, but didn’t really realize it. I didn’t start to take it seriously however, until the age of 18.

I wanted to model so bad but had no idea how to begin. I have always come from a place of not having enough growing up, but everyday I would say thank you for everything I have been through that makes me stronger. I would say thank you for every experience in my life that is giving me the strength I need to receive all of my dreams. I was working in many jobs that I didn’t necessarily enjoy but would always say thank you for my job, thank you for my health and would always do whatever I could to reach my goals. I also ended up sleeping on the floor of a friends house for almost three years but always remained grateful.

At the beginning of 2012 I wrote down goals I would like to achieve and at the end of the year I had received every one! To pass my driving test, to get a car (I had no idea how but on my birthday my Auntie gifted me her car as she could not drive it anymore), to get a promotion and to start modeling.

In December 2012 I walked into many modeling agencies in London and many said no, however I would walk out with my head held high and say I know it’s going to happen. I walked into the next agency and they told me that they where 90% sure they would take me but would get back to me after the new year when they reopen.

In 2013 I wrote out all the goals I would like to achieve for the year and told myself if I could do it last year I could do it again. I received a call from the agency, they wanted to sign me, i was so thankful and grateful!!

2013 was probably the best year of my life. I read all the secret books, watched the film all the time and listened to the audio-books wherever I went and so many things happened that I can not write them all here. If you Ask and Believe you will 100% receive.

In 2014 my modeling took off and I began getting loads of jobs and everyone at my agency just couldn’t believe how well I was doing as a new face. This whole time I was still sleeping on my friends floor, but I never let this stop me. I had other bad things going on in my life but would find a way to see the positive, always. I would say thank you for this floor I have to sleep on. Thank you for the flat that’s coming to me. All the jobs I dreamed of came to me and continue to come to me.

I am now modeling full time making more money then I wrote I wanted, living in a flat in central London and I have my own bed. 🙂

I write this to inspire others, you can be going through the worst time in your life but as long as you find something to be grateful for and you believe in your heart that you deserve good things and give as much love to the world as you possibly can that good will come back to you. It took a number of years but now I feel all the love returning to me and it blows my mind every single day. The lessons I learnt from all my life experiences allow me to enjoy life and I always remain thankful and grateful for my blessings.

I have many more things that I want to achieve and every day I wake up excited as I know these things are coming to me. No matter what happens in the day, good or bad, I can smile and know that it’s all happening to bring me to the things I dream about.
