Dreams Really Do Come True!
Submitted by: Michele
Atlanta, GAI have 5 children and my ex husband and I are best friends. After 38 years of marriage, we mutually and lovingly decided that we wanted different things in the next chapters of our lives. We’ve been divorced 4 1/2 years now and 2 1/2 years ago I met the man of my dreams!
I saw The Secret movie and read The Secret book several years ago, as well as read The Greatest Secret and The Magic. I also downloaded The Secret Super App a few years ago, and that has completely changed my life. I pull up the app every morning before I get out of bed, and I read through all four parts: the inspiration, the stories, the affirmations, and save the gratitude for last. After I journal all the things I’m grateful for every morning, including things not yet manifested, I feel like my heart is overflowing with gratitude and love, and I am in awe of how rapidly all my dreams are coming true! Thank you, Rhonda and the staff, for teaching me that my thoughts and feelings really do create my life!
I met the man of my dreams 2 1/2 years ago. I made a list of everything I wanted in a partner, and he checks every box and more. I own a home in Athens, Georgia, near my five grown kids. After dating my dream partner for two years, and with my youngest child starting college, I moved in with him, about an hour away. He has the most beautiful home I’ve ever seen, located in a stunning neighborhood. We dated for about six months before I even visited his home. He’s incredibly humble; I didn’t even know he had money.
I was a stay-at-home mom for years, raising my three sons, fostering 11 children, and adopting my two daughters. I loved my role as a mother because that’s all I ever wanted. But as my children grew up and left one by one, I began dreaming about what I wanted for the next chapter of my life. I made a list of all the experiences I wanted, and miraculously, my life is unfolding just as I imagined.
I never traveled much while raising my children, but now I travel at least once a month to places I only dreamed of visiting! Whenever I see something I love, I add it to my list and express gratitude as if I already have it.
For instance:
– A giant closet room. I not only have that, but I have three closets.
– A beautiful home in a country club with golf, swimming, tennis, and a golf cart. I now have two houses: one near my children and one with my partner, and we are currently looking at beach homes.
– A handsome, kind man who is chivalrous, and with whom I fall more deeply in love every day. I met him 2 1/2 years ago, and the attraction only grows stronger.
I once saw a gorgeous engagement ring on a billboard years before I met my perfect partner. He got me the exact same ring!
I picked up tennis later in life, at the age of 48. Although I was initially terrible at it, I loved it and wanted to improve every day. In fact, I won a few tournaments within my first few years and even became a tennis instructor.
The list goes on and on, and I could write a book about it. Hey, maybe I’ll add that to my list!
I share all of this to encourage and inspire you to dream big! There is nothing you can’t be, do, or have. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
