I was in my final year of university with a heap load of work and the constant question ‘What are you going to do with your life when you have finished your degree?’. I really disliked the degree I was studying and I knew that I did not want to take this career path. In addition to that, my friends had dropped out of the travelling arrangements we had planned for a few months after graduated with our degrees. I was also working 26 hours a week part time as well as studying for my degree. I was in a very low place, not knowing what to do with myself and I became very stressed. I was constantly having negative thoughts in my mind.

Through the help and knowledge of The Secret, I have now received a job working for Emirates airlines where I live in Dubai and I travel the world on a daily basis. I have also passed my degree with a high grade. I could not have done this without the inspiration I gained from The Secret.

While reading the book, I wrote down on a piece of paper my dreams and aspirations of getting the job working for Emirates. I wrote that I will gain a good grade in my degree and I wrote about everything that I am thankful and grateful for in my life. I would read this before and after reading The Secret every evening. This was exactly what I wanted and I knew if I said it and believed it as often as I could that I would receive these thoughts as reality.

Every day and every night I would visualise me working for Emirates and living in Dubai. I would sit on the bus on my own and that’s when I would get really deep in thought and visualise. When I really, really felt it and truly believed that it would happen, I got the most exciting feeling in my stomach and I then attracted more positive moments towards me afterwards. in addition to that, every morning I would put in my peal earrings which is what Emirates girls wear for their uniform. As I would put them in I would say, ‘I am receiving right now. I am a master of my own thoughts. I will work for Emirates. I will wear these earrings everyday for work.’.

Once the assessment centre and interviews came around for the job I was really relaxed and composed. That was something that I would usually be really worked up about as interviews used to give me really bad anxiety. But because of all of the positive energy I had created around the job, I hardly had any nervousness and I was confident and truly believed that I was going to get the job. And I did!

I truly believe the outcome of what I have achieved would not have been possible without the teaching of The Secret and I am truly thankful that it was brought in to my life. I will carry on using this for the rest of my life. Thank you!
