Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you to Rhonda and the entire team of The Secret. Since the time I came to know about The Secret Stories, I had always wished to write a story of my own. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to write down my success story. I had first watched the movie, The Secret, in 2007 and since then I had been a believer of it. From childhood I used to dream a lot, even day dream a lot. So The Secret made me realize that whatever I do is not a waste of time. I always used to watch the money part in the movie with a lot of concentration and but paid too much attention to health and relationships part.

I entered college in 2008 and started dating a girl after she became my best friend in college. At the start, the relationship was good but as we started living together our relationship became sour. All we used to do was fight but we both could not live without seeing each other. I loved her. She is a genuinely selfless person who doesn’t think twice before helping or pleasing the other person without expecting anything in return. It was just at that point in time our frequencies would never match and I was too stubborn to understand her part of the story. But still for some unknown reason, we both just stuck to each other.

In 2012 I came back home and my elder brother had just got married. His wife and my parents never got along and the house’s environment kept going from bad to worse. The only things that used to happen in the house was shouting and fights. It was at that point when I realized that I could not get married to a complete stranger as that person could also turn out to be someone who could not fit in the family. It was then when I actually realized that my girlfriend was a perfect match for the family but she had a very different family background than what I have. Being an Indian family, reputation and status matters a lot. As time passed we grew fonder of each other and finally decided that we would have to tell our parents that we want to marry each other.

By the starting of 2016, my parents started pressuring me to get married, so we decided that we would have to tell our parents that we want to marry each other. My parents out right refused. The differences in the status and caste was a major problem for them. I was devastated. I knew I could not marry anyone else but her. Once they refused, they did not speak to me about it nor did I think that by letting some time pass it could be advantageous to me.

Out of the blue after 6 months, my mom decided to meet my girlfriend. She liked her so much that within a week we had met her parents and had got engaged as well. Within a week, from not being allowed to get married to getting engaged was amazing and I can honestly say I had no hand in it. I did not persuade them at all. All of it just happened on its own.
The 19th February 2017 was the happiest day of my life, when I married the girl of my dreams! Since that day my parents have become so happy as she always does what they wanted from a daughter-in-law and the environment of my house has become amazing.

There had been times when I had my doubts, I always used to feel very scared whenever a negative thought of me not being able to marry her came to my mind but then I remembered that a positive thought is a hundred times stronger than a negative thought and I knew I just had to think positively. Every day I had only one thought in my mind and prayers, of her and me being together. I visualized her everywhere I went and today she is there, everywhere I go.

I am a big fan of Bollywood movies and in one of the movies there is some dialogue that says that if you desire something from all your heart, the whole Universe will plot to make your wish come true. And this is what the law of attraction states.
I have had experienced the power of The Secret for many small things like finding parking spaces or getting all green lights at traffic signals. However, I was waiting for the one big thing to happen so that I could write my success story here. And I have.
