I may have manifested a few relatively small things but they have truly shown me the power of The Secret, the power of myself.

As a student I had the mindset that it was only until after I finished university that I could afford to have nice clothes, to eat out for dinner… that whole myth that students have to live off packaged noodles and buy clothes from second hand stores. I always had enormous wish-lists online filled with clothes that I thought I couldn’t afford.

A few months after watching The Secret my sister gave me the book, and after reading it I moved all of the clothes from my wish-list’s to the ready to buy ‘baskets’. I imagined having them now and how great it would feel. I imagined that I had an abundance of money and truly believed I could buy anything I wanted, and that I deserved it, contrary to what I had been told about money. I pictured opening the boxes of clothes, trying them on, and putting them in my wardrobe. I also looked at what was already in my wardrobe and felt grateful for everything I had to wear.

I did this for a day (a day!) and while I was studying I decided to check out my shopping cart for inspiration. Everything had been marked down by 50%! I couldn’t believe it and started laughing so hard. The clothes are on their way now!
