I am deeply grateful to Rhonda Byrne and her team for creating The Secret. It has touched millions of lives and made the world a better place, so thank you, thank you, thank you!

I was gifted The Secret movie by a friend at the age of 16 years and it literally changed my life for the better. I managed to control my thoughts and have good friends at high school and I had the best time of my life.

But one thing that I struggled with a lot was getting my visa sorted. I would meditate all the time and image having my visa. But there was a deep fear inside of me and every time I thought of having the visa, it just made me feel the lack of having it. Every time I would imagine having a visa and doing things like going back to my country to visit my dad, it just made me more conscious of how unlucky I was. It seemed like the more I was pursuing my dream, the weaker I was getting! There were times when I had been doing meditation, visualising and feeling like I have my visa and then I would get a refusal letter from immigration and that would break my heart into pieces. I even took a few months break from being grateful but there was always something that would pull me back to The Secret. I knew that it worked for everything else in my life so it should work for my visa as well.

This went on for about 7 years! On and off I was chasing my dream but nothing seemed to have helped. I knew what was wrong. I was scared, I didn’t completely believe in the Universe but I still tried for 7 damn years and I couldn’t get over this fear. It just felt like it was engraved into my DNA but I never lost hope and I said that one day I would get it!

After some time when I was tired of not getting any results, I decided to focus on other areas of my life where I could use the LOA and improve. I said, whatever the Universe decides about my visa, I will accept it.

So what got me the visa, you ask? From the start, it wasn’t just me who had a problem with getting a visa. My sister was in the same boat and to be honest, she struggled far more than me. She would often get caught by immigration officers and put in detention. I knew the LOA so I was able to avoid situations like this but for her, it was a nightmare. She even stayed there once for two weeks.
I would just watch this and image what pain she must be going through. So in 2017, I decided enough is enough I am going to do whatever it takes to get her a visa!

I started looking at the visa scheme that other countries offer if you put in investment there, and I said, that’s it! That is what I am going to do and get her a visa. This just gave me unbelievable passion, drive, and happiness that I worked day and night to make this reality. I kept imagining her being so happy and having her visa! I often even got goosebumps when imagining this!

Then just a few months later, I received my visa!!!! Out of nowhere, I was granted a five-year visa!!

You see as Rhonda says, the LOA doesn’t recognise the difference between what you imagine for yourself and what your image for others. By dreaming and wishing for my sister’s visa, I was able to overcome my fear naturally.

To this date, I am working on getting my sister her visa and I know I will be able to do this very soon. Just to end this here, I want to say life throws us so many challenges and often they will only go away once you learn the lesson they have to offer. Just remember if you get tired, learn to take a break and not quit. I hope this helps someone struggling. I just want to say you are closer to your dream than you think so don’t give up! Have faith in the Universe because it always delivers, no matter what.
