Pune is our favorite city and we had been there many times but for the last 5 years, our plans for a vacation there were canceled. Every time we made plans or even wished to, nothing happened. We tried way too hard.

We always imagined ourselves walking on the streets in Pune, visiting temples and eating favorite foods. After the plans were canceled 5 times, my heart broke. I gave up thinking about it and just thought that it was way out of reach, even though I was always thankful that I had a chance to visit there before.

As 2020 started, my mom fell ill. When she recovered, she kept talking about going on a trip. I avoided the topic saying ‘later’ as I’d let go of any thoughts of going on a vacation.

In February, we suddenly planned the trip, packed our bags and reached Pune!

It was unbelievable and awesome. I kept smiling all the way.
The trip was just like we had imagined, we even visited Dagdu Sheth Ganesha, had our favorite foods and truly enjoyed ourselves. All the while I kept asking, is this for real?!!

When you let it go, things happen so quickly.

Thank you, mom, God, The Secret and the Universe for this trip!!! The best trip of my life!!
