I became aware of The Secret when I was in high school, about seven years ago. I tried practicing it on and off over the years but it never really remained in my consciousness until this year when I really started studying the law of attraction through different teachers. In the past month, I have seen this law work powerfully in my life.

I recently graduated college and was at a crossroads at my life. I knew I wanted a full time job in the human resources field, but I was open to move wherever I was meant to be. I was still working my student job part-time and I was very grateful to have it.

In July, I was on a time crunch. My lease in Northern California was up on August 15: I either had to find a full time job by the beginning of August, or move back home to Southern California or begin to look for a job there. As the end of July was nearing, I was beginning to feel anxious. I really tried to focus on my dream job and dream apartment; I listened to Abraham Hicks videos on YouTube while I was getting ready in the morning. I would definitely recommend these videos as a supplement to The Secret and The Power. I was getting my vibrations in line with my dream job.

One evening, I decided to rearrange my closet. My office clothes had been stuffed away in the back of my closet for two years since I hadn’t needed them very often while I was in college. I remembered a story in The Secret/The Power where a woman who was seeking love made room for her perfect partner in her life by making space in her closet for his clothes. I thought to myself, “If I had my dream office job, my office clothes would be in the front of my closet because I would be wearing them every day!” So, I moved all my office clothes front and center.

The very next day, July 30, I went into my part time job as usual. Within the first hour, my supervisor asked to speak with me in her office. She explained that her colleague was seeking someone with my expertise to start immediately in a human resources position.

Within another hour, I was speaking with this woman about starting my new hire paperwork the next day!

In just two hours, I went from not knowing where I would be living in two weeks to starting a great job without even so much as an interview! I started this job at an even higher salary than I was expecting, on August 3. All I had to do was be open to whatever the Universe was bringing to me.

Finding an apartment went just as smoothly. I found an adorable apartment in a great area, for a great price with an easy commute to my job. I moved in without any furniture, but I decided to tell myself that this was a story about adventure, not a story about lack. Life is all about what you make of it. I didn’t think “I hate that I don’t have a couch”. I thought, “I’m having fun! Not having a couch means I’m open to the perfect couch.” It sounds silly, but it worked.

Within three weeks I had a beautiful couch delivered to me for free! I know I am where I’m supposed to be because everything is so easy. Now, I am manifesting more furniture and my dream partner.

I am having so much fun with the law of attraction now that I have figured out how to get it to work for me. I’m so grateful for everything that I have, everything that has happened to me, and everything that is going to happen in the future. I hope this story serves as motivation for you all, as well! This stuff works!!
