Hi there, manifesters. I want to share with you how I landed my dream job. It is not exactly the position I wanted but it is in the company I always wanted to work for. It’s a foot in the door so that is what I’m grateful for as there will be opportunities for me to move into the position I want.

I had been working in retail for about 7 years plus during the time when I was at university as well. Obviously I did not want to leave until I got a better job. I would apply constantly but I would feel as if no doors would open for me. Even the most basic job positions would reject me. I’m not going to lie, I was getting so discouraged and frustrated that nothing was going right for me.

That was when my mother and sister told me about The Secret. I became intrigued and I finished The Secret book in 2 days and I watched The Secret movie on Netflix as well. I fell in love with it. It started me thinking about some of my past experiences and situations where I thought about stuff and then it happened. It was like I was manifesting without me realizing it. I then started to realize that maybe all the jobs I had been applying for and was not getting accepted for were because there was something better the Universe was planning for me.

I then started to write up my goals and even do vision boards. I saw my dream company had a position available and I sent in my application. I left it as that and let the Universe work its magic.

Then one day out of the blue, I get a phone call from the company asking me to come for an interview. I was so overwhelmed with joy. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

This was my first ever interview with the company and afterward, I was given the job!. It literally could not have come at a better time because my work was changing for the worse and the working environment was very toxic.

It just goes to show you that if you are out there job hunting and your getting rejected, do not give up! You are not getting those jobs because there is something better for you waiting out there. Always be grateful and happy.
