Recently I fell into a slump in terms of my finances. I owe money towards a debt that was beyond my control. Looking back on this I take full responsibility because even though I was paying money towards it, I could have easily paid more and even saved in the process. Instead, I insisted on spending my money on things I really didn’t need to. For example, I work four days a week and spent close to $60 per week on eating out at lunchtime and coffees when I could make my own meals and coffee from home!

I then decided that I disliked feeling this way, that I was always without money. Living paycheck to paycheck. I always had the mentality of “I don’t make enough” when in reality I make the perfect amount for someone my age and the days and hours I work. The problem lied with me!

I then rediscovered The Secret. I initially dabbled with The Secret many years ago and I think due to my age and lack of understanding, I realize now that it wasn’t meant for me at that time but it was now. I wrote down what I wanted to manifest and told myself that the Universe has my back and no matter what, I would be financially free and have a nice savings account.

My journey has commenced and I have noticed small things that keep happening to my surprise, and I thank the Universe every time it comes to me. For example, a few days after manifesting my goals, I arrived at work to find an email from the company I work for saying our sector had gone above and beyond with our sales so we were all getting a bonus of $200! I remember sitting there covered in goosebumps. That money was deposited by the end of the day and it immediately went towards my debt. So instead of paying $200 that week towards it, I had in fact paid $400 instead! $200 less off my debt and boy did it feel great!

And just today I got my tax return back. I had a poor tax return last year but I told myself “You will get a great tax return”. This morning I got the paperwork back and my return was $300 more than the previous year! I immediately said out loud “Thank you Universe! I knew you had my back!”

I know for a fact more amazing things will come to me and I know by December of this year I will pay either the full amount or be left with a very small amount of debt left and it will feel incredible!
