I am Faith from Mumbai. I thank Rhonda Bryne and her team for the excellent books and website they provide us. I read The Secret Stories every day. Before I start any work in the office I read through these wonderful stories which inspires me in every aspect of my life.

Today I would like to share my dramatic weight loss story with all of you.

I was overweight since I reached puberty. Every few years I would gain some weight, which I was unable to lose. I tried all the diets like Atkins, gyms, VLCC etc., etc., but the scales were stuck. The staff at the gym and VLCC would urge me to stop coming to their place since it no longer worked on me. I was distraught.

Then I chose to let go. I said I am happy in my body, may it be in any condition. I did this for a few months and trust me, I went down to 71 kgs from 75 kgs in just 2 months without any diet and exercise.

But I felt it was necessary to add some exercise in my schedule. During this time I came across a high intensity gym. You workout for 20 minutes per week and it was like working out 3 days in a gym. I started and I got stuck again. I some how managed to loose 3 kgs, but after that I would not move any further. I tried this for 6 months sometimes doing this session twice a week. But no weight loss. The staff would look at me with disgust, especially one lady who would boast how she reduced all her weight with only walking. I felt like slapping her, not physically but with a dramatic weight loss. So I made up my mind.

I told the universe I need to release 5 kgs before I go back to this gym again. I tried all the methods in The Secret. Gave gratitude for already being at my ideal weight to affirmations and I some how managed to say yes I can do it. Every night before going to sleep I would affirm with faith and belief that yes, I would release 1 kg every night till I reach my ideal weight.

A few days later my colleagues started to notice that I was thinner. But I did not believe them. I had no proof.

I skipped the gym for a few more days to avoid weighing my self. But I had to go one day. I had paid a bomb for these sessions. So there I was in the gym. The same lady I mentioned before gave me a smirk and said I hope you have not put on more weight. I was irked but I let go. Finally I climbed the scales with a prayer and I could not believe what I saw.

I was at 65 kgs. The same weight which I imagined I would be when I returned back to the gym next time.

Now this lady was confused. She made me weigh myself a few more times. But every time I was at 65 kgs. I had tears of joy in my eyes. I thanked the universe and the divine for helping me. I had to now reach 60 kgs which was my next goal. This time I did some exercise every day for 30 min without any changes in my diet. And poof, I am at 60 kgs now. All this in just 1 month.
