My Dog Came Back Just In Time.
Thanks to everyone for sharing stories and to The Secret team.
I have been using The Secret in many ways but I will just write about what happened today. I just moved into a new house with my family and our dog, who likes to run away if he is free. He used to go for his own walk if he escaped but he always came back to our previous home from anywhere after 5 minutes to up to two days later.
Yesterday I got him a new name tag with our phone number on it just in case he escaped and then got lost because we are now in a new place. When I went out with him today I unfortunately put the lock of the leash to the ring of the name tag instead of the main ring on his collar. I noticed it only when it broke. My dog ran away immediately and I had only a leash with no dog and a name tag on the ground. I decided to go back home instead of running after him because I had my 7 month old girl with me.
I hoped he would find is way back home and that he would be back before my husband came back home. I knew that he would worry a lot and be grumpy for me.
I was already feeling guilty but I decided to let my dog run for one hour so that he would use up some energy and have his own little walk. I visualized he would be back at 15:15. I had left the door open for him but was looking out of the window once in a while, just in case I would see him run past our place. I stopped looking because I had to change my daughter’s diaper. And when my girl had a clean cloth on, I heard our dog bark in front of the door. It was 15:07. So he was in a perfect timing.
So stay positive and let go of your worries. If you can, fix a precise goal marked in the right time and believe.
