I am starting to realise that the universe is a little like someone that does not speak English very well (English is just an example it can be any language). If you flood your thoughts with complicated language the universe will only pick up on what it knows. When you are learning a language the negative parts of it can be difficult to understand and you pick up only on the key works, thus “I wouldn’t like to do that,” becomes, “I like to do that,” and, “I can’t bear this anymore,” becomes, “I can bear more,” and so on.

Also, when you are trying to explain something to someone who does not speak your language well, often you act out what you are trying to say. So we must act ‘as if’ to the universe to show the universe what we want to happen. Often in life we assume people know what we mean because we know where we are coming from, but so much can be misunderstood in language (whether we are talking to someone in our own language or in an unfamiliar one). Make it simple and it will happen.

In my head the universe is a little man called Pedro who speaks very little of my mother tongue.
