Please forgive the length on this!

So I’m a recent undergraduate who took a retail job after graduation because money was running out. I was promoted within three months and realized there wasn’t really room for growth and did not want to spend the rest of my life in retail especially at the rate of pay I was receiving. So I took a leap of faith and put in my two weeks with only those two weeks pay in my bank account. This was a big leap of faith for me.

I decided to really take control of my life and dove into the Law of Attraction as well as myself. I read through LOA forums, listened to Abraham Hicks videos on Youtube, read Outrageous Openness by Tosha Silver and started The Magic. To test it I wrote on my list: “M-F, 9-5, no weekends, no nights, $14/hr office job.

Within three weeks I had been on six interviews! Yes six, every day I’d receive a call or email to come in for one from different companies, but no job offers. Last week, I met with a staffing agency and to my surprise she says; Well, we don’t have a receptionist tomorrow do you want to come in and help us out for the day? Of course I did. The pay was much more than my past retail job and went by smoothly.

A week later I had an interview with a restaurant as a hostess because at this point I’m desperate and can always fall back on restaurant experience. I got the job the day of the interview!!

The very next day I receive a call from the agency about an interview with a well-respected company in my city and it would be the morning of my restaurant orientation.

I went to the interview and honestly didn’t feel as though I aced it because she wasn’t as smiley and positive as my other interviewers, just very straight forward. So I decided to be myself and went on with my day to my orientation. Had the best orientation with the owner and enjoyed a platter of their best meat. I’m talking smoked brisket, pulled pork and chicken as well as turkey with amazing BBQ sauce! Yay! Free food and drink!!!

After the orientation I receive a call from the agency asking how my interview went and I tell her I didn’t think I got it because of the vibe. She goes, “Wow, well she was so impressed by you and went on about how motivated you sounded, she’s offering you the job and wants to know if you’ll start on Monday?!!” M-F, 8-5. No weekends. No nights and $14/hr!!!!!!!!

Everything on my list came true!

Believe me when I remind you to just relax and focus on the voice inside of you. Relax and have fun! It’s so hard to do at first especially when things stack up. Breathe and connect with that inner voice because that’s the real you. Everything seriously just fell into my lap starting last Thursday and of course I would get down on myself but knew that if I felt good, good would come.

I read on a forum once, someone posted their success from just saying to themselves: I love myself. I truly believe that feeling and practice helped turn things around. Try it in the mirror or to yourself, also say gratitude changes everything! Even if it’s for the air that you’re currently breathing with your powerful, healthy lungs.
