I always felt that the mind has more power than we suspect. Maybe not that kind of visible power used in Star Wars (“Use the Force, Luke”), but something less immediate that can be frequently used during our life.

Being curious about the subject, I read The Secret and it became perfectly clear that all my life I had been inconsistently shaped by the most frequent thoughts, for the best and the worst. There were simply too many “coincidences” related to some events previously visualized in my mind, or resulting of consolidated thinking.

I’ve just finished my master’s degree last month in the exact conditions I thought about previously for a few months. I had a lot of work and almost no personal life this last year, but I worked in the subject I wanted, with the supervision of the professor I chose earlier in my mind and the final classification that I targeted. The curious thing about all this process, was how the opportunity came out from nowhere during a conversation, as its availability was never released.

I can also tell you about my promotion last year, which was the first thing I’ve achieved since knowing about the Law of Attraction. Due to legal aspects and some other existing restrictions, I didn’t have a clue how this could be possible. Nevertheless I thought about reaching that pay check level for about 2 months! One day my boss called me to ask me if I could write a report so he could present it to his boss concerning my promotion. Somehow, a few weeks later, I had accomplished it. The “how” it’s not up to us. Let the universe do its thing.

A few months ago I started to seriously think about changing my 8 year old car. It gave me a huge expensive bill at the beginning of this year so I thought it was time to buy the car I’ve dreamed about for years, and as a reward from obtaining the Master’s degree.

I established what I considered a reasonable target for a used car of that particular brand, well equipped and handled with care. As advised on “The Secret” I’ve done test drives to several models, new, old etc. I was so confused that in fact, I didn’t know what I wanted anymore. After a few weeks, when finally I’ve decided what I really wanted, the greatest opportunity knocked at my door from one of the previously visited auto stands. It was not for free 🙂 but it was more than reasonable, since I paid much less than I was expecting.

It is very important to know exactly what we do want, so that we don’t keep attracting lots of distractions that might prevent us from reaching the goal.

There are many experiences that I could write about. Since I have known about “The Secret”, things have been better than ever. I’ll focus on greater goals now and I intend to share the experience with as many as possible. “There’s more than enough for everybody!”

I believe the “receipt” is perseverance, focus and to keep out negative emotions such as fear, anger and hate. To me, it’s more than proved that it works. We are much more than matter. God gave us this power. Let’s use it right!
