Clear skin is possible

I’ve been on oral contraceptives for about 7 years, one reason being that it makes my skin clear (minus a few spots, worse around my time of the month), having had acne as a teen. I wish to stop taking them and had begun preparing myself to fight against the acne that comes when stopping the pill (had stopped once before with such bad acne I had to start taking it again!). I bought vitamins and a new face wash as preventative measures against the acne I thought I would be fighting. What happened when I started using them? My acne got worse even though I’m still on the pill. I realized I was mentally treating myself as though I had acne and my body said, “Your wish is my command!” and I got it.
So I read a few stories here about using The Secret to have clear skin and began meditating about it, reflecting on self-acceptance, created a vision board of clear skin and thought to myself, “Wow, I’m so blessed to have perfectly clear skin!” When looking in the mirror I would blur my eyes to imagine the clear skin I truly had. Within one week, I had perfectly clear skin and have had it since then. I feel so blessed to have The Secret and The Power in my life, it’s life-changing.
What I’ve learned from these books: Advertising persuades us that we’re flawed (bad skin, bad hair, bad teeth, too fat) in order to sell us ‘solutions in a bottle’. But if there’s nothing wrong with us, there’s nothing to sell. Using The Secret to realize our true nature — perfect, complete, whole — will take away the power of these messages and return the power to us. I truly believe that completely loving oneself (as taught in The Power) can help us to actualize our great skin, great hair, great teeth, ideal weight by helping us to wholly accept ourselves and feel true happiness.
Thank you Rhonda for sharing this with the world in a way that has been so widely-accepted, it’s what we need!
