Claim It To Own It!

Before I start with my magical experience after watching and reading The Secret, I would like to take this opportunity to offer my immense gratitude to The Secret team, to Rhonda and for all The Secret stories and the people who share them. Reading the stories here gave me a lot of hope and the positivity to believe in my dream. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I got to know about The Secret at my workplace 3 years ago and so I watched the movie and I also started reading The Magic. The concepts presented in the book and movie impacted me profoundly. I understood the fact that inner happiness, positive emotions and visualization are launch pads to a happy, contented life.

My own secret miracle happened in just one month. So to start with, I have worked on and off on marketing roles and I really enjoy the responsibilities that come in this profile and line of work. However, I was not happy in my job. All I was doing just involved me sitting in front of the laptop crunching numbers! It became more like an Analyst’s job role and I was not happy with my work profile and the company culture. Because I was unhappy with what my employer could provide me, I left my job and gave myself a timeline of one month to get what I wanted. I started writing down every detail of the job I really wanted and would get. I wrote down the salary, the advantages and the company that I wanted, I wrote down everything. I also mentioned in my journal the date I would post my secret story here. I then would take long walks, did sky gazing and had a constant ‘thank you’ chat with the Universe for providing me with such an amazing opportunity. It was all in present tense as if it was already mine.

And so then I applied for jobs. I got calls from places I applied to and from places I did not even apply to. I went for all the interviews happily and to my amazement, I got offers from all the places I applied to. Some had lower than the salary I wanted so I felt the Universe was telling me that something better was about to come and so I waited. Then yesterday I got confirmation from 2 more places. One of them with the exact same salary that I wrote in my gratitude book and the other place, a big multinational, with a salary much higher than my expectations!! I am starting on the 8th of next month.

Thank you to my sister who also applied The Secret for me! Thank you to all of you once again! May the infinite power present within all of us grant peace, harmony and success to the entire Universe!
