I was in my late 20’s when my father enrolled me in CPT. Although it felt that it was too late to start studying, I eventually gave in and started my Chartered Accountant journey. After clearing the CPT and the CA-Inter in one attempt, I was confident that I would be able to complete my CA final as well. But then I failed my first few attempts and my confidence started to dwindle. I had given up on clearing the paper, but my father and my husband forced me to write the exams again.

I had used the law of attraction a lot in the past and then somehow I had forgotten about it. It is strange how human minds works, right? One day my brother reminded me about it by saying these simple words, “Why don’t you use the law of attraction to attract your exam results?” It then just struck me that in my insecurity and lack of confidence, I had forgotten about the power of gratefulness and thankfulness.

So, three months before the exams, I watched The Secret movie again. I made points in my notebook for all the things that moved me and made me feel positive. Whenever any doubt or negativity about my result would come into my mind, I would write down why I was so grateful that I had cleared my exams. I thanked everyone and everything for my success, from the pen in my hand to the exam hall I was going to write my exams in. From all the teachers I had to the person who would be checking my exam. I wrote down the result I wanted to get and I used to visualize it whenever I had some time.

If anyone out there is thinking that this was all I did, then sorry to burst your bubble. I also studied for 16 hours a day! But then the difference was that while I was studying, I knew that I would be a CA.

On the result day, when everyone else around me was in  panic mode, I was calm because I knew that I was a CA. I would visualize the result and thank the Universe for it. The result I got was exactly the same one that I had visualized. I was amazed by the law of attraction once again!
