This story happened a while ago, but I would like to share it with you.

I have 2 cats. Their names are Sandy and Susi and they are about 10 years old. I love them very much and would not know what to do without them.

Some time ago Sandy came home and she did not eat or drink anything and also just slept the whole day. Normally she is very active and wants attention the whole day. 2 days passed by and still she did not get better. So I was very worried and went to the vet.

He told me that she has kidney failure and could not be cured. He gave her some pain killers and told me that it would be best to just treat her normal for her last days and give her lots of love. And if she would get worse I should come to put her to sleep.

I was shattered. I just could not believe it. I cried so much and took her home.

Then I met a friend of mine and we went for a coffee. It was hard to leave my cat alone at home but I thought that I could not help her anyways.

But luckily I already knew about The Secret. So I just tried to forget it and had fun with my friend. Somehow I was really able to do it. We laughed a lot. And the whole time I also had the picture of my healthy cat in my mind and was very GRATEFUL for it. Sandy is a very strong cat. She would never give up the will to live. I knew that.

As I came home I did everything she liked. I pet her, gave her milk and I combed her fur. She purred and liked it. I gave her much love. Tears were rolling down my cheeks.

I tried to feed her and she actually ate! I was so happy, because I knew now that she was going to be better.

2 days passed by and she was healthy and jumped around again. I still have her! I am so happy. Sandy was on the edge of dying some times before, too. So I knew that she would survive this as well.

It is said that cats have 7 lives. I think my cat has even more! I know that I will have my 2 cats for many more years. I love them so much!

If I would not have known about The Secret it may have been that I would have become negative and given up and let her die.
