Care Less And Live More.

I am a 34 year old secondary school teacher.
I was introduced to the beauty of the law of attraction about four years ago by my best friend. We were in our late 20s, both at a crossroads in our lives, constantly meeting the wrong guys and never quite meeting the right person to share our lives with.
The whole philosophy of the law of attraction made sense straight away to us and we put it into practice in our lives, encouraging each other along the way. In the past we expected things to fall apart for ourselves but now we did everything with a more positive mindset. Within a year of doing this, my best friend’s life fell into place, she met the guy of her dreams, bought a house and had the most amazing wedding. I was left behind, still practicing law of attraction but I kept meeting the wrong people. I could not understand what I was doing wrong.
It was not until I lost my contract at work that things suddenly fell into place. I decided to go abroad to live the life I wanted to lead and to do something for myself and not always thinking that I needed to live a certain kind life in order to settle down. A couple of weeks before I left to pursue my job abroad, I met the most amazing guy. I knew when I met him that there was something special about him. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I could not believe that after all those years of waiting for someone, I met him a few weeks before I was due to go away. I decided to go ahead with my adventure and that if it was meant to be, I would see him when I got home at Christmas.
We stayed in touch, met up at Christmas, and he even came over to visit me abroad. It was like the world was trying to keep us together. It was even to the point that I spent all of the lockdown with him at home because the airports went on lockdown before my flight back at Easter. I am here sitting in a beautiful home with the greatest guy, looking out on the most fabulous views and I just want to say how grateful I am for this community. I sat many a night reading these success stories hoping that one day I will be able write my own. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
If there is one thing you take away from this, it is to live your own life because you will not get what you want until you finally let go of constantly searching for ‘the dream’. It comes looking for you when you least expect it. Just let it go. As cliche as it sounds, it will happen to you too, just care a bit less about it and enjoy every moment of the journey as you too will have a story to tell! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
