This summer I was a victim of auto theft. My friend was having a get together at her apartment and I was planning on staying the night so that I wouldn’t have to drive the 25 miles back home. I put my over night bag and purse in her bedroom, which she locked do to the party.

Later that night I went to retrieve something from my purse and found her lock busted and her room ransacked. Someone had broken in took my car keys and digital camera, her laptop as well as her roommates, hers and our friends and my wallet, and her roommates check book and social security card. I immediately ran down the block to see if my car was still there but to my shock it was gone.

Words cannot express how I felt. I looked online and found that most cars are either returned in 72 hours or never found. Two days went by and still no news from the police.

That night I couldn’t sleep knowing these were the final hours that I had a chance of getting my car back. Around 7 am I went to The Secret website. I love the book and wanted to read some personal stories to remind me of how powerful The Secret is.

Half an hour later I got a call from the police- my car had been found! It was found at 4am, almost exactly 72 hours later. It had been stripped pretty bad, but the insurance company decided to put $9,500 into repairs!

Not only did I get my car back but I got basically all new parts. This just goes to show how The Secret does exist and how putting your faith in it will bring you blessings. I am now using The Secret to bring those crooks to justice. The police have told me that they are very close to an arrest!
