Wow! I still can’t believe the story I am about to tell. It is a lengthy one but I need to record all of the details so you see how truly amazing this happening was for me. I am so grateful to anyone who has written their success story here and also to Rhonda for her inspiring books, which have shown me happiness again.

Preface: I kept saying to myself that my very short Christmas break would feel like a long two days but be the best two days ever.

I’m a manager at a retail store. This time of year is crazy for us! I am in school in Providence, but I’m from upstate New York. It takes me about two hours and forty five minutes to travel home. I originally had a few days off prior to Christmas and planned on traveling home for a few days. Then, my store got a new manager, and she came in and changed it all. She initially scheduled me to work on Christmas Eve and the day after. I was upset. I would not have time to go home and see my family, which killed me. We worked it out so I could have Christmas Eve off, but I had to close on the 23rd, so I decided to drive home that night so I would have the full day at home on Christmas Eve.

My manager was taking her sweet time closing. By the time we got out, it was 10 pm, about 40 minutes longer than needed. I started my trek home. I had been in touch with my friends and decided to meet them at the bar since the chances of me seeing them were slim since I had to leave on the 26th. I arrived at the bar at about 1 am. Prior to my plans to meet at the bar, my other friend and I were supposed to hang but she canceled on me.

We had fun at the bar, there were three of us, and I was going to drive home. My friend then asked me to take a ride with her to drop off our third friend and said she’d bring me back to my car afterward. I figured I might as well since I hardly had any time home.

We were turning onto a highway and got t-boned. It was insane. We all felt like we were OK though, and we got out of the car. Then they had me drive us to where we were going.

The next morning, I went home to tell my mom what happened and why I was not home last night, and she made me go to the ER to just make sure the lump on my leg that I had was nothing serious. The doctor put me on crutches and told me to come back again on the 26th. I was scheduled to work that day, so I was so confused and worried.

To shorten the story, I was on crutches for a few days, and when I went back to the hospital, they said I could not work again until the 29th! My manager made the schedule and had me off until 1 pm on the 1st!! This is amazing to me because I got a week off when I was expecting to get only two days off! A week off during the Christmas season is unheard of! Also, in NY, the injuries are handled as no-fault, so my medical bills will automatically be paid, and I will also be paid for the days of work that I missed!! I am a part time manager, and I do not get paid vacations!

I was elated and had a mission. I asked for the best week ever. I can proudly say it was literally the best week ever. Christmas was amazing. Hanging out with my friends was the best. Words can’t describe how good it felt to have zero cares and to be truly happy. I went out with my friends one night, and we went somewhere to pregame; they called us all a limo, and we got into a Saratoga, NY club, VIP, and did not have to pay a penny for anything! I actually went home with $20 more than I left with! The boys were throwing money around so my friends and I picked it up, LOL!

Side Note: After a command I made to the Universe that night to kiss a boy, I ended up being 1 of 2 girls who had a boy!! And yes, we were kissing. I usually am the last in any of my group of girlfriends to be that girl with the guy wanting her.

I slept at my friend’s place 70% of the time I was there, and every day I woke up on cloud 9.

I could go on, but I now know how real The Secret is and I found that ‘feeling’ is key. I will now be sure to feel everything I say or want, and just believe it will be true. Last year I was not excited to go home in the summer. However, this year I am excited to go home this summer and have the best summer of my life. Right now I am using the law of attraction and The Magic to have the perfect summer body. Please, can you all send me your love and believe that I have the perfect body as well? Thank you!

PS Every second of every day I am giving thanks and feeling grateful. When I was home, I even made myself stay awake sometimes when I was dead tired so I could take it all in and remember. I feel so much appreciation because that car accident should have been so much worse. He hit us directly between the front and back passenger side, so the frame of the car saved my life as well as my friend’s life. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
