Beware, The Universe Listens To Everything!
I want to thank Rhonda Mam and all the wonderful people who contributed to the book, The Secret. My story is quite different from the other stories posted here. It is the story of how I messed up my job as I did not know the immense powers of our thoughts and feelings! I am posting this story with the intention that people learn from my mistakes and do not repeat them in their lives. So let’s get started.
I am new to learning about The Secret and this incident happened when I was unaware of it. Last year after passing my postgraduate degree in Computer Applications, I got a chance to pursue a 6 month internship in a reputed organization in our city. We were a group of 13 interns in total. We had been promised that based on our performance in the internship period, we would get interviewed and could be promoted to be permanent employees of that organization. I was the only one to get this chance by directly applying to the company. That in itself was an achievement, as all the others got the chance through college placement.
After my internship started I was allocated to a small project with only 4 members. They all had approximately 2 years of experience in that organization. Now, being a complete fresher, I made some mistakes. I had approached the project in the wrong way. They had never guided me or told me the right way to start. I needed time to understand things as everything was new to me. Though I tried to learn and complete the work as fast as I could, they always insulted and humiliated me. They would say things like, I don’t know anything, I am good for nothing, and I can not do anything.
Slowly I started to feel depressed and very unworthy. My self-confidence was finished and even I started thinking and believing that maybe I was not worthy of working there. That I would never get selected, and all kinds of negative thoughts.
Now guess what? Among 13 interns, only 5 got selected to work as regular employees but everyone else got a chance at being interviewed to prove their worth. However, it was only me that got rejected, without even being interviewed. I was told that there was no requirement at that time.
I now understand that it was not my team members nor the upper management that was responsible for my rejection. It was my thinking. I want to tell everyone by sharing my experience, to please believe in yourself. Believe in yourself no matter what others say about you because it is only your own thoughts and beliefs that create your life.
After that incident, I was in search of some inspiration and I came across The Secret. The COVID-19 pandemic provided me enough time to understand the law of attraction as I read The Magic, The Power, and Hero, too! I understand that “I become what I think and believe about myself” and I promise that my next story will be about my successful job manifestation! Thank you!
