I apologise in advance, this may be lengthy! But I hope you have greater faith when you’ve finished reading!

It started when I was overseas. I came across The Secret in a bookstore when I had accidentally stumbled and tripped into the aisle, saw the cover and was immediately drawn to it. I knew I had to buy it. So I did.

As I read through The Secret, I had started to notice some changes. You see, I’ve had eczema for practically my whole life. My parents had spent loads of money on me for special lotions and treatments and various specialists for years. Alas, none prevailed. So you’d understand my amazement when I was looking at myself in the mirror one day – gone were all the scars and rashes that were all over me. I was in shock. Never in the entirety of my life had I seen my skin so heathy and never had I felt my skin be so smooth! I knew it was all because of me and my positive thoughts.

I was so amazed that the LOA had accomplished something I thought was impossible! I had to test it out. I chose something specific. I had said, ‘I will see a car novelty decoration. It will be a white flower in an orange pot. It will be in a red 4 wheel drive, sitting on the middle of the dashboard. It will pass by when we’re driving. And I will see it before I leave.’ And I just forgot about it. I said it a week before we left to go back home, and remembered about it 3 days to our departure. For a few minutes, I panicked, thinking that it’s not going to happen. But instantly changed my thoughts thinking that we had plenty of time for it to happen. And, I kid you not, the second after, a red 4WD drove passed holding the exact decoration I was thinking of. I was ecstatic.

Knowing full well how powerful my thoughts were, I put them into action as soon as I got home to Australia. First thing I wanted to deal with was my skin. Though it was completely baby-smooth, it still had obvious discolouration. But I didn’t dwell on the flaw (and never will I ever dwell on imperfections ever again). After only just 2 weeks, my skin was evenly coloured and was even slightly tanned! How did I do it? Well, I simply believed that my ordinary lotion (that used to be of no benefit) was no longer ordinary, but magical! The magical lotion would rejuvenate and even out my complexion. I had the flawless skin I’d always dream of!

The second matter was my figure. I wasn’t happy with my height (solely because people teased me and it didn’t feel nice) and I also wanted to tone up a bit. People told me that I had reached my potential height already, but I refused to believe them because I felt so much taller on the inside. As a little nudge, I stated that the water I showered with was magical. When the water washed over me, I felt it seep into my bones and knew that it was helping me grow fast (as would a tree when watered) and that fat was effortlessly leaving my body through the water going down the drain. The water would also wash away negative thoughts and the like.

About three and a half weeks had gone by, and I noticed my reflection in the mirror. I could not believe my eyes. I had the exact figure I longed for! I was tall (165cm to be precise) and slim with abs, back dimples and a cute bubble butt!

Around this time, I had also started (and I mean only just began as I, in all honesty, never got compliments about my looks) to get compliments everywhere I went! School, shopping centres and from my family! I heard, “Wow! How did you get so tall?!” and simple “You look amazing/gorgeous/beautiful/hot!”! I was in utter disbelief. Never before have I gotten compliments such as these!

After a good look in the mirror and at myself again a while later, I had notice that I had received things I never had! Believe it or not, I had longer eye lashes; healthier hair; perfect, white teeth (I had braces – my orthodontist told me I could take them off months earlier a.k.a soon! He said my teeth somehow moved at an incredible pace and he doesn’t know how!); fuller lips and strong, lovely nails. Scars, some protruding parts that doctors couldn’t identify and other imperfections all seemed to just vanish!

In my own eyes, I had become the perfect person I’ve ever desired to be! And this all happened within a couple of months! Now, I’m so happy with myself, my life and just my everything! I’ve been told that I radiate happiness and confidence (not cockiness) when I walk and talk. I’m comfortable with wearing bikinis and tight dresses/skirts now! I’m confident in being in more photos at parties!

I care not for any negative comments thrown my way, and neither should you. I have so much positivity in my life and all because I accidentally came across The Secret at a bookstore overseas.
