I work in the development ‘not for profit’ industry in my small country. When I became restless in my role at this international organization, I, at the same time, realized that the only organization that would be a step up from my current role in my country would be a certain donor organization. I had applied to this organization a few times without any luck, not even a shortlisting for an interview. But I made a firm intention in January of 2022 that I would apply until they recognized my name and invited me to an interview, just to shut me up! I knew I would ace the interview. I knew nothing about the law of attraction then.

Three months later, I was introduced to the concept of scarcity versus an abundance mindset and I was fascinated. Being an avid reader, I searched for information on these terms until I found The Secret movie. My fascination increased.

About a month later after I watched the Secret movie, a series of events began to occur that left me completely astounded. A recruiter contacted me on LinkedIn about a role at the same organization. I followed a lot of dedicated guidance until the position was advertised, and this woman again asked me to apply. Everything just flowed. I knew that the job was mine even as I continued to take inspired actions that left me shaking due to how out of my comfort zone they were. I trusted my intuition and followed every gut instinct to a T, and I only received positive responses.

I am now 4 months into this prestigious role where I am one of only 2 staff members without a Master’s degree. That can only be the Universe responding to my desire. Customs were trampled on and restrictions loosened to make way.
