Let me start by saying that I have been experiencing The Secret since I was a little girl, however, I did not know what to call it or what it was.

My first experience has to do with giving and receiving. I remember giving someone twenty five cents out of kindness, don’t remember who the person was, but I do remember giving it with kindness. I believe it was that afternoon or the next day that I found twenty five cents on the ground, as I was walking on my way somewhere. I felt joy and thought “what a coincidence”.

I learned about The Secret from a client about a year ago and now I understand what has been happening to me throughout my life. I always had plans and goals: having a house with a garden, living in a tropical place, having a house with a pool, working close to home, working from home. All these dreams have become a reality at one point or another in my life. It is so amazing to look back and be able to see that the things you want and ask for with passion become a reality. What I have learned is that “faith” and “trust” in the universe are key to having the things you want in life.

A few days ago, I was feeling a little blue and needed a little bit of encouragement. I asked God and the universe to send me a sign to let me know that all would be well. I then thought “I just know everything will be ok”. Sales had been slow in January and I needed to sell a couple of homes. Within a day I received three offers on three of my listings. Needless to say I have two of my listings under contract and my husband has two other homes under contract. I was sharing this last experience with my husband today and we were both giving thanks for all that we have in our lives.

I could go on writing my stories about how The Secret has always been a part of my life, but I think you get the picture. Give thanks every day and give to others from the bottom of your heart. The universe and The Secret will reward you.
